The Lava Hot Springs Folk Festival is a project to provide youth in our community with music education opportunities. We started back in 2016 and have grown consistently since then, all thanks to the helping hands of this amazing community!
Our folk fest features music from a variety of talented regional artists—20+ individual performers and groups join us each year—spread over three days in various venues around town.
The quaint little village of Lava Hot Springs is nestled in the Portneuf River valley in the southeast corner of Idaho and features world-famous hot springs to soak in, a variety of activities to enjoy, and lots of places to stay.
Admission Information
Admission to the 2023 Festival is free of charge.
RAFFLE TICKETS
We will be selling raffle tickets for various prizes before and during the Folk Festival. The sale of raffle tickets is our primary fundraiser for the Lava Elementary School Music Program. If you would like to purchase tickets (one for $5; five for $20), there will be opportunities at various locations during the event. DONATIONS
We also have a DONATE button that you can use to support us and our mission as well. Donations of any size are welcome. Simply click on the DONATE button below and enter the amount.
In case of incremental weather, the music will go on! We have a variety of indoor alternate venue locations which will be posted around town. No need to fret! The Lava Folk Festival is a HAPPENING event! Click the bar below to see when and where the musicians will be playing.
